Although this isn't a Hallicrafters radio, I'm trying to come up with the
proper name of a transmitter I had as a Novice. Unfortunately I have no
photos of any of my early stations. (prior to the mid 70s) and I was first
licensed in 61.
I thought it was a Globe scout. Unfortunately it didn't look like any of the
photos I can bring up of Globe Scouts, or at least those I've brought up so
far.
The Transmitter was a low profile with a cabinet shaped much like the
heatkit SB series, or Collins S-line. It was crystal controlled only and ran
a pair of 807s mounted horizontally.
Any thoughts?
