Hi Wayne,
Join the crowd. This subject seems to come up about monthly. Peter
Dahl makes a terrific one, but it's a bit pricey. You may come up with a
used one, but it might not last long.
For a reasonable alternative, consider using a Heath HP-23 power
supply, external, connected thru an "umbilical" cord. Take a look at my
website, go to the HT-37 page. If you want a detailed schematic, let me
know - it's not very neat, but shows what's done.
