[Hallicrafters] SX-71

Am finishing the restoration of a nice SX-71 and cannot locate an article I saw regarding a cathode resistor change to the 3rd IF amplifier which was to increase gain and S-meter readings while improving AVC action.  Would appreciate it if someone would point me in the right direction.  Would also appreciate  knowing if there are any other reasonable mods that apply to the SX-71.
