[Hallicrafters] Admin Suggestion

Gentlemen, 	
	
I agree that the condition of Ham Radio today is not the topic of this list. It
is given to as many varied viewpoints as asking about the best way to ground an
antenna! Several have written to suggest we discuss this on the air as an open
forum on forty or eighty meters. Not a bad idea. Would one of you like to host
this discussion? 	
	
While it may not resolve anything, it will give people a chance to air their
feelings and frustrations. Sometimes a healthy roundtable discussion results in
an idea that the FCC listens to.	
	
As several have mentioned, this topic is getting a lot of discourse in a variety
of other places. I agree it is best to get back to Hallicrafters and move that
topic to a place better suited for such a discussion. Unfortunately it almost
always results in somebody getting angry and lines of battle being drawn in the
resistor dust. So let us avoid it here.
