Hi Dave,

I would not call myself a technology pimp at all.  My shack consists of a 
collection of more than 150 Hallicrafters receivers, transmitters, transceivers, 
test equipment, "consumer radios" and military items. I also have a small 
Drake collection.  The nearest thing I own to technology is this piece of junque 
computer and a TR-7.

I can't fix the TR-7, not this computer, but I can fix the fire bottle gear.

As for operating, I probably make one CW contact for every 20 phone contacts. 
I try to keep my speed up to a reasonable 15 WPM.

This recent field day, operating 1B, I made 400 contacts, all SSB!  The 
generator was made by Onan in 1944!
