[Hallicrafters] sr2000 ps recap

i was wondering if anyone can shed some light on this subject. can i use type 
fp 100/100 mfd 500 volt, cutting the cans down from the 9 that are in there 
to 5? or use, per the halli website info, 50/50 500 v caps? 

just want to be SURE before i proceed.

any input is greatly appreciated!
