[Hallicrafters] Please Join HCI 20 Meter Net Tomorrow

There will be no official HCI 20 meter Net on Sunday August 17th, so you guys
hold down the frequency! I shall return on August 23rd, Lord willing. 	
	
Join me tomorrow Sunday August 10th for the HCI 20 meter Net. The pre-Net will
begin at 12:45 PM EDT, (1645 UTC). The Net proper commences at 1:15 PM EDT,
(1715 UTC). The NCS, that is I, will be on the air and kicking those electrons
butt cakes at 12:20 PM EDT, (1620 UTC). The frequency will be 14.293 Mhz usb +/-
for key clicks, mike splatter and the fluttering, flailing and flapping of
surprised blackbirds when they discover that I have electrified the five
elements on that six meter beam they have been sitting on and white washing my
roof, shrubs and grass from. I have mathematically calculated the precise amount
of current needed to daze them just enough that they flip over and end up
hanging upside down. Next a sudden brief surge of current causes their feathers
to ignite, their beady little eyes to cross, their fertilizer port to clog, the
back pressure builds and they blow themselves off my antenna elements and land
in my neighbor's yard who is from some foreign country where they like to bury
the dead birds and plant a berry producing bush over them. Probably ablack berry
bush!      	
	
I hope to hear many of you tomorrow, so be there and let's overpower the
propagation entities and have some great QSO's in spite of their attempts to
pervert the propagation. Let the vintage gear prevail! While I am recovering,
you hold the fort and take no prisoners! Remember, park and hang onto the
frequency from 12:15 PM EDT onward until the next group at 3:00 PM EDT.
