[Hallicrafters] SX-28 transformer Needed

Hi Bob,
    They do go occasionally, so if you find one, it might not last.  I
recently had one for an SX-42 rewound by Gary Brown, WZ1M, gkbrown at gwi.net
he does a beautiful job, and more reasonably than the well known, and great,
commercial firm (P. Dahl).  I got an SX-28 in similar condx to yours some
time ago, I did find a replacement for it, but would recommend Gary's work
if you can't fins one or don't want to chance it.  (I've got a Dahl xfmr in
my HT-32.)
