Most finishes of comerically built wood funiture and other products
like speakers were coated with Lacquer or shellac. It dries really fast
so is good for speedy production. It can be bought at any good hardware
in spray cans. Flocking can be done at most T-shirt or sports ware
shops that do custome lettering. I fixed one of those machines once
and they use 100,000 volts dc to make the stuff stand up.
