[Hallicrafters] Another First

I feel like I just made my first contact...

A few minutes ago, I finished working K4HPP on 40 CW with my resurrected, 
crystal controlled HT-40, and single conversion SX-140...and I feel great.  
The HT-40 power supply held, as did the modified Heathkit HD-10 keyer, and 
his signal sounded fabulous on the old Hallicrafters speaker.  (Here's hoping 
my harmonics weren't detected more than a couple blocks away from the house.)

We should all take some time to clean off the old dust, do a little 
troubleshooting, replace a few parts, and fire up these old originals!  Great 
fun to be a technician again!
