Dan -

Start by cleaning the sockets.  They're the only thing you disturbed,
other than the alignment process.  Taking the cabinet off just moved the
tube around a bit.  It's a guess, but it's a safe thing to try.  Tony
wa4jqs had a good suggestion (9-14-02):

"One of my SX 101A's was doing this and i found it to be a very dirty
tube socket pin. it was a high resistance contact due to the oxidation. 
i used a dental brush with cleaner on it. the type of brush that goes
between your teeth (tapered ) both Gum and Oral-B make them . i now keep
one on the bench and make it a habit to clean all tube sockets with it."

I agree wholeheartedly.
