I would like to personally thank each and every one of you who tuned in
Wednesday evening to listen, or join with, the special HCI Global Glow
roundtable. W5JT, Jim Thayer read a thoughtfully and insightfully written
commentary by a retired United States Marine that shared some perspectives the
media often times glosses over. Marie Lamb, the hostess and producer of the
DXing With Cumbre program heard on WHRI weekly, recalled her feelings and
emotions of the moment as the tragedy unfolded. She works for a commercial FM
station in Syracuse, NY and vividly recalls the first phone calls from listners
and first trickles of information over the media wires. I patched her through
via telephone.	
	
VE4WI, Craig Winchar, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada shared some thoughts from
our Canadian neighbors on how they saw the September 11, 2001 tragedy from their
side of the border and how terrorism had creeped into Canada as well. No place
is safe anymore. 	
	
Thanks to all who checked in with a thought, rememberance and/or comment. 	
	
A special thanks to K8JRO who was able to help me get the AL-1500 amp back in
