This started out as a discussion of the U.S. being still at war with the
Seminole Indian tribe in Florida so bear with the first part.

Boy, Drieux you just hit a raw nerve. In 1988, I bought a WW II German
radio set from a collector in Holland. He shipped it in a small wooden
crate and it arrived in Miami. I was contacted by a "shipping agent" and
they agreed to get it from Miami to me. It went into Bonded
storage(costs more) and was taken by bonded transport to U.S.Customs who
then sent it to the BATF who decided that since it didn't shoot or
explode they were not interested and then sent it, again by bonded
transport to the Fish and Game Commission. Since it wasn't fish and game
material, they released it from Bonded Storage and it was trucked to
Tampa. Charges were $460.00 added on due to Bonded storage and
transport. I had to have a certified check for the driver. I got the
check and the next day the driver arrived and explained the $460.00 was
to get it to Tampa and there was another $12.00 charge to bring it to
Largo.

Maybe I should have bought an atomic bomb, might have been easier to get
through the Port of Miami!!
