I do not have any info regarding the field coil speaker replacement
question.

However, I can tell you that "bama.sbc.edu" has a pdf file on the S-20R.
The PDF file is 408Kb in size, with the last page being a schematic.  The
PDF file appears to be a copy of the S-20R manual.

Hi, I am new to restoreing these Hallicrafter radios. I know there are
people out there with electrical knowledge & support only if someone takes
time to respond. What is purpose of this site to me as a new hobby to
restore these     Hallicrafters radios if no one cares to be of assistance?
I had posted an earlier question on (S-20R schematic question) Only one
person  responded, but he had no schematic. Roy-thanks for your time.I did a
search on archive for this question but found no response. Has anyone
replaced the field coil speaker of S-20R with a PM speaker.If so, can anyone
provide any information ? Thanks
