If all else fails, a small well positioned bit of C4 is guaranteed to dislodge a
stuck meter needle. Really 'frees' things up! (grin)

Sticky meter movements are common. It is usually caused by metal wiskers
(or dirt) stuck between the coil that moves the pointer and the magnet
drum. Some times a small peice of paper can dislodge them. I try
gently blowing on the coil first. Be very carefull, it is very delicate.
