[Hallicrafters] Global Glow Countdown

The HCI Wednesday Global Glow is currently scheduled to end after the October
30th special Happi Halli-Ween roundtable. This is for children, but 'big' kids
can participate also! The W9WZE Halligans Hallicrafters call will be used that
evening. More details on it to follow later on this week. 	
	
Join us on Wednesday October 2nd for the HCI Global Glow roundtable. The pre-Net
will commence at 7:00 PM EDT, (2300 UTC). The roundtable proper starts at 8:00
PM EDT, (0000 UTC). The frequency will be 14.315 Mhz usb +/- for key clicks,
mike splatter and the sound of loud banging on my back door by the local law
enforcement officers trying to serve me with a summons. How was a totally blind
man supposed to know the neighbor's stupid Siamese cat was hiding in the
eighteen inch high weed garden growing along the south side of my house? I
borrowed one of those two cycle gas powered weed eaters andcut down that ugly
growth of pollen bearing weeds. I also managed to cut the feline into strips of
fur covered meat suitable for grilling over a roaring camp site fire pit. So the
irate neighbor called Animal Control and reported me for cruelty to animals.
Well at least the neighbors can get some sleep at night because this oversexed
male won't be trying to mate with anything having four legs, including yard
chairs and picnic tables! 	
	
I hope to hear some of you tomorrow night for the HCI Global Glow roundtable, so
be there and keep me company. Propagation or not, I will be there calling for
check ins, perhaps a pepperoni pizza and patiently waiting for all of you to
show up with some fascinating Hallicrafters tales, troubles and trivia to share
with all of us.
