[Hallicrafters] Comments on SR-400A

Hi,

My main comment on the SR-400 is that it is a sweet little rig.  The main 
caution I can give you is to keep the tune up periods as short as possible 
and don't try to squeeze every last watt out of the sweep tube final.  I 
would add a fan to help keep things cool.

I have seen several of these rigs go in the $500 dollar range recently.  They 
were in very good shape save some "hallicrafters" paint scrapes on the 
cabinet lips.

I have one here that is in OK condition, but have been looking for one in 
really nice shape.  If you decide not to buy, I would be interested in the 
particulars.
