Hi John, I do not know much about the SR-150 but have an SR-2000 and the RIT
control will operate equally either side of center position IF the CAL
adjust control is centered. So, you may need to do a quickie alignment of
the VFO...not at all difficult . . .so that what you are looking at on the
dial resembles the actual frequency. Get back to me w5jt at arrl.net if you
need more info. Regards, Jim W5JT

Subject: [Hallicrafters] SR-150 RIT Adjustment

Hello Hallicrafters Folk -

I'm continuing the project of restoring an SR-150. I've made tremendous
headway, but have a question regarding adjustment of the RIT. The RIT
circuit has been restored to functionality, but the RIT center frequency is
off by most of the 2 kc shift. The manual does not specify an adjustment
procedure for the RIT center frequency, and examination of the schematic
leaves me with questions. So, is there an RIT center frequency adjustment
procedure? Or is it somehow managed in doing the IF/RF tuning in a fashion
that is not obvious to me?

Thanks for the help.....

John
