The best bet is to go to your local auto supply shop and get either the
Novus or Meguiar Mirror Glaze plastic polish and restoration system. These
come in separate bottles so you can buy what you need. You would want to
probably get the heavy scratch remover and the polish. You might consider
also using the regular after the heavy scratch remover and then the polish.
This stufff isn't cheap, about $7 or more per bottle and you need at least 2
products if not three. This stuff was developed for convertible rear
windows among other things. It works pretty good (but no miracles). Works
great on the plastic fronts of Zenith TOs. It will not, however, remove the
yellowing of the S-meters although it helps a little. That appears to go
completely through the plastic.
