Hi Folks,
A forlorn WR-3000 found it's way to my house today. I suspect
shipping/handling caused some internal damage. It's dirty, missing the main
tuning knob, but might make a companion for a little band cruising while out
sailing. It has a cable hanging out with a 12vdc plug on it, no battery
box, which is OK with me. It sure isn't a boatanchor, but it is
Hallicrafters.
The loop stick antenna was lying loose, all 6 of it's fine wires severed
from thier connection points. It isn't held in there by much, and it's
kinda heavy & easily jarred loose.
I could make an educated guess or 3 to put them back, but if I had a
schematic it might help. BAMA has the WR-4000, which externally looks
similar, but circuitry is greatly different, it appears. Can anyone provide
some insight or a schematic?
tnx, 73,
