Hi Brandon:

Gee, now I know why my teeth hurt today.  Make sure Grandpa keeps the ice
pack on as much as he can stand it -- if the doc ordered it.  It's the
first 12-24 hrs of ice packing that keeps the swelling down.  Otherwise
Grandpa will be the marblemouth of the airwaves tomorrow.

Of course, while I'm the veteran of many sessions of periodontal surgery,
extractions, and numerous root canals, I know that doesn't make me an
expert.  Based on my experience though, you should get in the habit of
brushing your teeth, flossing, Listerine-ing, etc. every hour on the
hour.  Either that or arrange to be fed intravenously to avoid wear and
tear on the ivories.  I grew up on Crest, but it wasn't enough.

Anyway, Brandon, hope your Grandpa feels better soon.  Tell him Barry
sent him a "zinger".  When it hurts when he laughs, tell him that's
zinger number two, heh heh.  I'll take his mind off it.  If not, ply him
with a pint 'o rum -- tell him to swish it around, then swallow it. 
Repeat this several times until he really is good and goofy.  Not too
much or you'll have to do the net yourself tomorrow.
