[Hallicrafters] Lend Lease Radio Equipment to Russia WW II

The note on lend lease reminds me of my conversation with UA1DZ many years
ago. Seems that the many pictures in QST from years ago showing WW II
military gear were partially Russian clones. Among those cloned were the
BC-312/342/348 series, the HRO, and the AR-88.
Vlad did not remember any HT-4's (BC-610) or SX-24/25/28's being cloned.
Some did show up as left overs from lend lease.
The most famous BC-610 on the air after WW II (up to the early 60's) was the
one at DU7SV. Volt had a great AM/CW signal and his card was prized the
world over and seen in many of the DXCC squared pictures (DXCC by working
100 DXCC countries members). Volt had it working on SSB using an exciter by
1960.
