[Hallicrafters] Rejection

Come on guys...the paranoia is running away with common sense here.
The source of the strange e-mail earlier was an auto-responder that asked
you to go to a web page and "subscribe" to be in an access list. I don't
believe there was any malicious intent there, just poor judgement in an
attempt to filter spam. I removed the offender until he fixes whatever he
was trying to do. He was a ham, He was a legitimate subscriber, He was not
a spammer nor an e-mail harvester.
The web page referred to below is my "404 page not found" error page. And
very funny in my opinion. If you ask for a non existent page, make a typo.
or intentionally make a mistake on ANY QSL.net or QTH.net URL you will meet
my web server who will entertain you for a bit until it asks you to click a
sponsors page. There are 10's of thousands of 404 errors daily on the
servers, we redirect these to a banner add that pays up $.02-$.04 cents per
click on a sponsor. It is one of the subtle ways we make money to fund the
lists. wE get about $100 a month income from this. So the next time you see
the error page have a good laugh then click a few sponsor pages for the cause.
