Sounds like some kind of trick to get folks to go to a
web page and receive a worm via an automated java ftp,
or have you give up your list password, or just simply
obtain your email address for use as SPAM fodder...

Personally ?  I wouldn't do it, unless there is a post
here from the various list owner(s) that this is indeed
a service that THEY THEMSELVES have contracted in order
to reduce occurance of SPAM to the lists...   JMHO!
