[Hallicrafters] HCI 20 Meter Net Salutes Cinco De Mayo

Hola, 	
	
Hoy es el Cinco De Mayo. Para todos de nuestro Hispanic amigos, Feliz Cinco De
Mayo! A muy bueno dia y grande ano. 	
	
We salute all of our Hispanic friends on this, the fifth of May, a Spanish
holiday celebrating their independence.	
	
The HCI 20 meter Net for Sunday May 5th will begin with the pre Net at 12:45 PM
EDT, (1645 UTC). Where Duane, that's me, will totally humiliate himself by
singing La Cucaracha while accompanied by Frogzilla and his Lily Pad Five
Dixieland band. If you are still conscious, or have not laughed yourself to that
great triode in the sky, the Net officially commences at 1:15 PM EDT, (1715
UTC). The frequency will be 14.293 Mhz usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and
the sound of window glass shattering when Frogzilla tries to hit a 'high sea'
(high C), followed by all things breakable shattering like that cheap crystal
from a 'blue light special' that explodes into a zillion fragments when dropped!
  	
	
I will be on the air at 12:30 PM EDT, (1630 UTC) slapping electrons into shape
in the hope that I can hear stations checking in closer than the ISS.
(International Space Station) You do not get much sleep with a new born around,
in case you have forgotten! No, he's not here keeping me awake. But one whiff of
a diaper with a full load was enough to do things to my sinus passages not ever
recorded in the medical books! So I am sleep deprived, more ornery than a
constipated Gorilla that a Green Peace worker wants to give an enema to and
meaner than a Drill Sergeant with a cactus thorn in his rump nobody will remove!
So be nice to me today and I will try very hard not to back hand the desk mike
across the room if QSB should strike right in the middle of a juicy boat anchor
tale. I hope to hear a whole host of you today, so warm up those beauties that
