Let me wish those of you who celebrate the Easter holiday a most joyous and
spiritual time with your family and friends of like persuasion.

The Easter Sunday March 31 Hallicrafters Collectors International 20 meter Net
will begin at 12:45 PM EST, (1745 UTC), with a pre-Net discussion of what part
of a chocolate bunny should be bitten off first. The ears get my vote. Remember,
do NOT leave the chocolate bunny on top of the vintage gear as you warm up the
equipment. Unless you enjoy the sight of melted chocolate oozing out around the
S-Meter, that is!

I will be on the air at 12:30 PM EST, (1730 UTC), for those of you who would
care to arrive early to participate in the which boat anchor gear boils eggs
faster; Hallicrafters, Heathkit or Collins. The Drakes and Swans tend to do
better at frying fowl than boiling eggs!

The Net will officially commence at 1:15 PM EST, (1815 UTC), with a few strains
of "Here Comes Peter Cottontail" hopping down the path of least resistance. The
frequency will be 14.293 Mhz usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the sound
of beautifully colored hard boiled egg shells being ground into the carpeting as
excited children try to catch the real live bunny fleeing for its life as it
leaves a trail of fragrant droppings behind!

I hope to hear many of you tomorrow hopping down the Hallicrafters trail lugging
that vintage gear behind as you fuel up on those nutritious vitamin enriched
jelly beans. Personally, I love those black anice ones. Happy Halli hopping and
have a great Easter!
