Gang --

What, if anything, do you use to protect the front panels
of your BA gear?

I've had very good success using Turtle wax on the cabinets
(not front panels) of my HT-37/32 and SX-111/101A gear,
but those are shiny smooth finishes.

I'm ready to start reassembly of my HQ-170, and tried some
turtle wax on the back of the panel -- results were not very
good. Did not buff out well at all. The 170 front panel is not
glossy like the halli cabinets. Also, buffing the back of the
front panel causes the cloth to turn the color of the panel,
and I'd wouldn't like to think of that cloth going over the white
front panel labels !

So, what do you use? I'm primarily interested in applying something
as a protective coating, not neccessarily for looks.
