Hi to all,

I have decided to move out my SX-43.  I'm asking $475 for it, which includes
a R44 speaker and a w7fg manual.  I prefer to sell this to someone in the
northeast so as we could meet up to avoid shipping.

I put this radio through a restoration process a couple years ago,  It is in
very nice condition.  All the paper caps have been replaced and I went
through the RF - IF resistors and replaced where needed.  I aligned the
receiver with my test equipment.  The receiver is in excellent working order
and works well on all bands including FM.  The front panel is not perfect,
but the face and the knobs have been cleaned and polished.  This also
applies to the chassis....I broke down the radio and polished the entire
chassis.  This is a very nice sounding radio and, like it's brother the 42,
is very pleasant to look at with its green half-moon dials.  The R-44 is in
good shape, though I had to repair a scratch on the front of the speaker.

So what you get is a radio you will not need to touch.  I have some other
projects that I would like to get at...so I'd like to make room.
