Hi Greg,

     Obviously transformers are plentiful at places like Fair and Surplus 
Sales of Nebraska. I have a little secret I have been keeping for a number 
of years...there is a place in Milwaukee called "American Science and 
Surplus" (6901 W. Oklahoma, Milwaukee WI 53219 414/541-7777). It is an 
incredible place...a huge warehouse with all sorts of odd-ball stuff. 
Anyway, their electronics department always has tons of small transformers 
with 6 and 12 volt as well as 200 and 300 volt secondaries. You never know 
what they have in stock at a given time but if they don't have what you 
need, call back the next day. Unlike a lot of the electronics surplus places 
these transformers are essentially sold by WEIGHT. So you might pick up one 
for a doller or two.
