12AU7's, 12AX7's and 12AT7's all draw 150mA at 12 Volts OR 300mA at 6.3V.
And the gains rise in the order of, 12AU7 (least), 12AT7, 12AX7 (max).
However, I believe the 12AU7 can handle higher plate current (I have a
manual but am lazy).
