[Hallicrafters] Re: Split S-Meter Housings

There must have been a lot of stress put in those early Hallicrafters s-meter 
housings when they were originally stamped because it is hard to find a good 
one. Hammarlund HQ-129X meters suffer from the same affliction. I have 
successfully used a screw type stainless steel hose clamp to squeeze these 
housings back to the correct shape to solder all the splits. Another repair I 
have seen was on a receiver I got a while back which had a couple of turns of 
fine stainless steel wire (such as .020 aviation safety wire) wrapped and 
twisted to pull the "petals" back down.
