Priority mail is already contracted out. Its not handled by USPS between
Post Offices at all.
I shipped over 4,000 copies of my book "The Amateur Radio Mail Order Catalog
and Resource Directory" via priority mail and only had two get
damaged...none were lost!
There is a FedEx Box outside my post office too. Plus most Mail Boxes Etc
are becoming Official USPS Resellers...what this means is stamps are at USPS
price and no longer marked up. Maybe USPS is just getting smarter.
