Please press the 'eject' button on your kitchen remote control and blow yourself
away from the table for the Wednesday HCI Global Glow roundtable. Be sure not to
press the yellow button, as that one fires gas out the wrong end and may result
in your face viewing the condiment dish from a very close proximity! The pre-Net
commences at 7:00 PM EDT, (2300 UTC). This allows the stations without dill
pickles up the nose and radishes stuffed in their ears to participate before the
skip skips over them.

The roundtable proper, begins at 8:00 PM EDT, (0000 UTC). The frequency will be
14.315 Mhz usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and the joyful sound of
hundreds of frogs splashing in the old frog pond which is now full of water
instead of pond scum and grass clippings. The drought was so bad that the frogs
invaded the neighbors swimming pool and dechlorinated it with a mil surplus unit
they dragged home on a large freight dolly of UPS truck stock pulled by a
'borrowed' Allis Chalmers yard tractor with price tag dangling from the yellow
sun shade. Once the police arrested the neighbors for theft, like who would
believe frogs stole them, they got right to work making the pool habitable.

I hope to hear some of you tomorrow evening on those glorious Hallicrafters that
still go glow in the dark. Not only does the equipment glow, so do their
operators after prolonged use! Not just anyone can moonlight and rent himself
out as a nightlight! Ever play hide and go seek using a Geiger counter?

P.S. Still hoping one of you will volunteer to help me on Wednesday, lest the
global glow glows no more.
