Never used them, but they do list paint for Hallicrafters gear.  I have been 
unable to find matching paint anywhere locally, and I've been to a couple 
hobby shops, Walmart and Home Depot.

If you're not fussy, and don't plan on using your refurbished gear as a 
museum piece, you may want to look at Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch "Winter 
Gray" gloss.  I'm currently refurbishing an R-48 speaker, and have just gone 
over my primer with this.  It's off from the original color, but looks good 
enough for me.  By the way, the original color of the R-48 didn't match the 
original color of the SX-140, anyway...

Let me know if you use paint from NC.  Interested in knowing how close it is 
to your particular shade of Hallicrafter's Gray.
