[Hallicrafters] WTB S-53A

BlankI'm looking for a very, very clean, no rust Hallicrafters S-53A in working condition, unmodified. I prefer one of the older ones with the grey top, and not the one with the "waffle" shiny dial shroud which also has the large knobs with "moon inserts". The older version came with large knobs with a thin metal silver plated band around the knob.

Where I'm going with this is that this was my first "kid" radio many years ago and I would like to have another one to pass along to my kids.

I will consider either version however the older version is preferred. As to working condition, dry cords and needs filters are of little consequence, easily repaired.

What do you have?
