[Hallicrafters] SX-42 For Sale

Offered only for direct, personal, inspection, "negotiating" (No, it won't be held "for high bidder") and pick-up in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Unit works good to very well on all bands.  Newly refinished case and cover.  Front panel is all legible, but only in "fair" condition.  everything is there for the "user", but this is not a "collector's-quality" set.  Have Sam's schematic which pretty well fits this set.  Hallicrafter's manuals I've seen don't fit!.  E-mail, or phone, if interested (616-698-8896).  Just don't have room for two - But having two sure helped get them both into good operating shape!  Seeing's believing -- and it's the only way to arrive at a mutually agreeable price!
