[Hallicrafters] Hello to all

Good afternoon,

I am Dave  K5FNG. I am new to the Hallicrafters reflector and wanted to
introduce myself. I picked up an SR-400A, P-500, and HA-20 at a local
tailgate sell a few weeks ago, and now after about 40 hours of elbow grease,
tube replacements, and an alignment, it all seems to be working great. Looks
great too.  This is my first Hallicrafters. Been a Heath fan until now. Now,
after using the SR,  I wonder why!!

I need a couple of the aluminum inserts for the noise blanker and meter
control knobs if anyone can point me to some.  Also, what desk mic does the
group recommend?  I have an electrovoice 644, but have not hooked her up to
the radio yet.  Using a Shure 404C carbon hand mic at the moment.
