First, I want to thank all those who gave me some insight into doing
restorations. I realize that there is more than just replacing the caps. I
propose to also test tubes, replace needed resistors, restring dials replace
defective wireing, clean up of chassis, resolder ALL connections. Test
grounds, realignemt. Some of thes Boatanchors would cost an arm and leg to
ship. To any one out there, which is the best but cheapest way to send these
boatanchors, UPS, USPS, FED-X,???????
Per subject line:
I just found a bunch more manuals. These would make good bench manuals
as they have a wealth of information such as, diagrams, schematics, parts
list's, alignment instructions, voltage checks. At these prices you can
afford to spill coffee on them, hehehehehehehe.
Some look to be copies of original's whileothers look to be Riders. This is
just a partial listing. I have more that I haven't even uncovered yet. Also
other brands of boatanchors such as Hammarlund, Johnson, Harvey Wells,
etc..etc..etc.. I mite have what you need, Just shoot me an e-mail and I wil
take a look. These are photo copies, NOT ORIGINALS. Price includes shiping.
