[Hallicrafters] S-22 vs. S-22R

I recently received a note from a friend who said that he believed that
the IF freq listed in the Riders for the S-22, 465kc, was in error.  He
said that he believed it to actually be 1600kc.  I realize that 1600 is
the value for the S-22R, but can anyone confirm or deny the suggestion
that it is also the actual value for the S-22?
