[Hallicrafters] Re SX-71 In Hard Plastic Case

There were no SX-71 receivers ever manufactured in a 'hard plastic case'. I
contacted Chuck Dachis to be sure of this, and he confirms it. Hallicrafters
manufactured no S or SX models in a hard plastic case, all were metal.

Hi,

I have a sx-71 in good condition inside and out.This rig has a Black
Hard Plastic Case.Cosmetically it is a 8.7..It receives really well.It
scores a 10 in this dept..It needs a chrome knob for the cw pitch,it
does have a knob but not the proper one.I have a manual for this rig.I
also have a RME preselector 10-80 mt.
I'm not sure of the model # but it operates well and it looks great.

Price for radio and preselector = $190.00
Or i would consider a trade for a nice digital shortwave receiver like
the Sangean ATS-909 or similar.
