[Hallicrafters] SR-2000

I know this may get me blasted as a blastfeimer (?)  BUT...
has anybody out here in Halliland ever tried or thought of changing the
final tubes on a SR-2000 from 8122 to 4CX250's???

I just rebuilt my p-2000 supply, and find the tubes have gone to electron
heaven.  Out here at VOA, we use quite a few 4CX350 tubes, which are
electrically  the same as 250's.  Tubes are not a real problem here.
