The ads said up to 10 watts INPUT! The 50L6 is quite
similar to the 6L6 and you can definitely get over 10
watts out of a 6L6 if you put enough plate voltage on
it!
However, in the SR-75 I doubt that there was that much
DC on the tube! Also, I am not familiar with the
circuitry, it is probably fairly inefficient!
I would like to have an SR-75 just to say that I have
one! I do have a Conar 400, and the SR-75 is in the
same category as that transmitter - unique!
