Burger Chef??!!!!  Haven't heard the name in years --  But we used to go to
church in Zionsville, Indiana, with Frank Thomas who (with his brother, I
think) owned the company.  The first Burger Chef hamburger I ever ate was at
our Church Picnic!  Frank brought the equipment to the town park and served
the whole congregation!

Yes, they were pretty good.  Seems to me they cost something like 11 cents
each at the time (probably 1954)  Too bad the "big corporations" got them --
and ruined them!
