SR-42/SR-42A:  Circa 1964.  2 Meter Transceiver,
companion to the SR-46/SR-46A 6 Meter Transceiver. 
Fixed station or mobile with built-in 117 VAC or 12
VDC power supply.  Has provision for 4 transmit
crystals or may be operated with an external VFO. 
Receiver is dual conversion, xtal controlled 2nd
oscillator, nuvistor RF amplifier, ANL, S-Meter, zener
diode regulated HF osciallotor, built-in squelch. 
Transmiter power input 10 - 12 watts.  Original cost
$219.95.
