Craig,

The Loudenboomer products were actually made by Radio Industries (W0AR ex
W0AIW) in Kansas City.  Lee was a very active early SSB Operator and
authored articles in CQ and QST.  His original Loudenboomer was a 4CX1000
amp in CQ and he wrote a piece on big quads compared to Yagis in the late
60's.   Radio Industries originally made both the rotor and the Commercial
Loudenboomer amp which became the HT-45.  The amp was a 1KW amp with a
single 3-400 and outboard PS.   He sold out to Hallicrafters about 1963
and some amps and rotors still have the Radio Industries logo.   I don't
think many of the rotors were sold by Hallicrafters but the amp was sold for
several years
