$3550 is NOT "UP" for a really nice SX-88 Pete. If anything, it's DOWN. 
They've gone for a lot more than that in recent years-both on-and off-ebay. 
Not that there's anything about SX-88s that justify that kind of 
money-other than long-passed DX-peditions and advertising success at the time.
