I own a S-38E in good working condition. What Antenna should I use? Will a long wire work? Should I use ladder wire with a dipole? I live in an apartment with thick stucco walls. I need to come up with a simple exterior antenna that will work well. I presently have a ground plane CB antenna with a grounding rod. I have a home made impedance matcher that I've used before for short wave. I've tried to use the ground plane antenna with poor results.
