Excepting the BC-610 floor mount series, you might try
lifting a Hallicrafters HT-20. That comes close to
the WRL Globe Champion 350A in weight for a "table
top" transmitter. Also, to take an HT-20 apart to
work on it requires the removal of about gross of
screws (144). Since it was the first Hallicrafters
transmitter that was "TVI'd", there are all sorts of
shields within shields to remove. I used mine on 160
meter CW until I got my HX-50A for CW, AM, and SSB.

My books show the weight of the SX-101 series as 74
pounds. I have one in for service right now, but
haven't put it on the scales.
