[Hallicrafters] Please Read - Admin Statement

As many of you are well aware, recent posts by 'abe-link' have been totally
inappropriate, and not just because they were directed in my direction.  This
person has done this with others on quite a few different lists, not just on
those of qth.net I have received mail from quite a few of you who were furious
about his comments. 	
	
First, he is off the Hallicrafters list. Al Waller and I will do all that we can
to prevent him from getting back on this list, or any other of the qth.net
lists. However, this is no easy task. What would be extremely helpful, is this
persons real name. If anyone knows, please contact Al Waller, K3TKJ. Your
identity will remain confidential. Yahoo Inc. has been contacted, but unlike AOL
and Juno, Yahoo is less than sympathetic or cooperative. This person wil be
located and possibly prosecuted under the laws that govern electronic mail and
like communications.		
	
Some humans, and I use that term very loosely, have such an inferiority complex,
that there only claim to power over others is to sit in the seeming safety of
their home and play Mr. bad dude at the keyboard. They are cowards and e-mail
has provided them with a cyber sword to slay imaginary foes with, without having
to risk a real encounter with an actual foe and be pulverized into cheap ground
hamburger. Unfortunately, some do get on some of these lists now and then. While
they are insulting, offensive and mean spirited, they are to be pitied. Yes we
should still hang them by the genitals from a rusty tower in the hopes they
contract Tetanus, but not allow their sickness to infect these lists, ruin the
tremendous exchange of helpful information and disrupt the purpose for which
Alan Waller intended said lists to be utilized for. The best response by you, is
no response. They get their joy out of your enraged replies. They are begging
for attention, be it negative attention. Their self-esteem is more hollow than
an egg someone poked a hole in each end of and blew the contents out of. Hollow
state refers to the space between their ears. It is an emptiness that your
verbage won't fill, neutralize or even penetrate. It is a bottomless cavern of
emptiness that good judgement, common courtesy and respect for others goes
straight through like salts through an old maid. So do not bother. Ignore,
delete and/or flush. 	
	
It is a great sadness when one of these unfortunate events do happen. But they
do happen and on many lists and by a variety of different vermin. Do not let one
infected rodent spoil the enjoyment. Lure him into an old boat anchor with a few
shorts in the high voltage area and roast his tail! Then sell it on the Bay of E
as vintage protein cooked in 'an original microwave'. 	
	
Thank you for your concern. It is greatly appreciated. And if you can build a
more effective mousetrap, go for it!
