[Hallicrafters] Question about SX-101A

Hi all,

I just purchased a nice SX-101A and my question is about the metal dial
scale disk behind the main tuning knob. It is marked 0 to 100.
This receiver's metal disk is gold in color with black lettering as opposed
to my SX-101MkIII that has the disk in a silver color with black lettering.

Anyone have an idea if the gold is original? It is clean and shines nicely.
If so do all SX-101A's have gold?
